This collectors edition is a richly illustrated master project by illustrator Echo Chernik.  You can watch the creation of the illustrated edition on Patreon. Estimated publication date, Fall 2024. The 1300-page book will contain 105 chapter head illustrations, approximately 10 black & white & gold interior illustrations, 8-10 color plates, and be bound with gold gilt edges and a slip-case (maybe a dust jacket).

Each will be signed and numbered (up to 1,000) by the artist.

The Remarque option includes a hand-drawn remarque lovingly created by the artist on a lower edition number than without.

The Fore-Edge option includes a fore-edge painting in watercolor on a lower edition number than without. What the heck is a fore-edge painting? A fore-edge painting is a hand-created painting on the edge of the book that can only be viewed by fanning the pages out. It's a nearly extinct art form that I'll be learning for this lovely collectors' edition.
